- First, I believe that the POSIX standards do NOT cover the standard C
- functions; they simply refer to the ISO C standard for those. For
- POSIX-specific functions like fork, yes they should. See www.iso.ch for
- details on getting ISO standards. There is an ISO standard for POSIX; I think
- it came from committee SC22/WG15.
